PHP Developer Needed for Enterprise CMS Customization

About the role

Harbor Softworks is launching a focused sprint to automate its CI/CD pipeline and streamline platform releases. We need a PHP Developer to embed automation, improve build reliability, and accelerate deployment cycles.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions or GitLab CI for PHP/Laravel services
• Automate database migration and seeding processes within deployment pipelines
• Integrate static analysis, unit, and integration tests into the release pipeline
• Collaborate with DevOps to containerize services and manage environment variables
• Document pipeline architecture and provide knowledge‑transfer sessions

Must-have skills

• 3+ years of PHP development with Laravel framework
• Strong experience configuring CI/CD tools for PHP projects
• Proficient in MySQL schema design and performance tuning
• Familiarity with Docker and basic Linux scripting

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes or Helm charts
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Prior work on automated testing frameworks (PHPUnit, Pest)
