Key Responsibilities

• Translate a variety of content from one language to another, ensuring that the translated content is accurate, engaging, and culturally relevant.
• Conduct research to ensure that translations are accurate and culturally relevant.
• Collaborate with other translators and editors to ensure that translations are of high quality and consistent in style and tone.
• Meet deadlines and deliver high-quality translations on time.
• Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure that translations meet the highest standards of quality.
• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the company's style guide and translation standards.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in translation.
• Collaborate with other teams, such as marketing and sales, to ensure that translations are integrated into the company's overall strategy.
• Provide feedback and suggestions for improving the translation process and quality of translations.
• Participate in training and professional development activities to improve skills and expertise.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, managers, and clients to ensure that translations meet their needs and expectations.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Participate in special projects and initiatives as needed.

Requirements

• Native fluency in the target language and excellent language skills in the source language.
• Strong background in translation, including experience with a variety of content types and formats.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with others.
• Strong research skills and attention to detail, with the ability to conduct thorough research to ensure that translations are accurate and culturally relevant.
• Ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality translations on time.
• Strong technical skills, including proficiency in translation software and tools.
• Experience with quality assurance activities, such as editing and proofreading.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze problems and develop effective solutions.
