DevOps Engineer Needed for Observability Stack Setup

About the role

AlphaEdge Tech is modernizing a legacy production platform and needs a DevOps Engineer to ensure zero‑downtime migrations. You will work closely with the engineering team to redesign pipelines, refactor infrastructure, and automate release processes.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement blue‑green and canary deployment strategies for seamless rollouts
• Migrate monolithic services to containerized workloads on AWS
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools
• Automate monitoring, alerting, and rollback procedures to meet zero‑downtime targets
• Document architecture changes and share knowledge with the team

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production
• Hands‑on AWS services (ECS/EKS, CloudWatch, IAM)
• Deep knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tooling
• Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues quickly

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation
• Familiarity with service mesh technologies
• Background in legacy system modernization projects
