About the role

BrightMart Solutions is scaling its e‑commerce platform and needs a DevOps Engineer to automate infrastructure, improve release pipelines, and ensure high availability across cloud services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for micro‑services.
• Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes.
• Manage AWS resources, including EC2, S3, RDS, and IAM policies.
• Monitor system performance, set up alerts, and troubleshoot incidents.
• Collaborate with developers to embed security and best practices.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in AWS services and infrastructure as code.
• Hands‑on CI/CD tooling (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Solid scripting knowledge (Bash, Python, or similar).
• Understanding of networking, load balancing, and security basics.

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana.
• Familiarity with serverless architectures.
