Project Overview:

We're a SaaS startup scaling our infrastructure to support 10K+ users. Need an experienced DevOps Engineer to optimize our AWS setup, implement CI/CD pipelines, monitor performance, and ensure security. Part-time role (30-40 hours/month) managing critical infrastructure for growing product.

Responsibilities:

Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda)

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/Jenkins)

Implement monitoring and alerting systems

Optimize database performance and scaling

Ensure security best practices and compliance

Automate deployment processes

Handle incident response and troubleshooting

Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions

Provide infrastructure cost optimization

Required Skills:

5+ years DevOps/Cloud Engineering experience

Expert AWS knowledge (multiple services)

Docker and Kubernetes proficiency

CI/CD pipeline implementation (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)

Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)

Monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, New Relic)

Linux/Unix system administration

Security and compliance understanding
