Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
• Troubleshoot issues and optimize performance of containerized applications
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of containerized applications
• Develop and implement automated deployment scripts using Docker and Kubernetes
• Ensure compliance with security and governance policies and procedures
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical systems
• Develop and maintain documentation for containerized applications and infrastructure
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features and services
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in containerization, Kubernetes, and DevOps
• Participate in code reviews and ensure that code is of high quality and follows best practices
• Develop and implement monitoring and logging solutions for containerized applications
• Ensure that containerized applications are scalable, secure, and highly available
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans for containerized applications
• Collaborate with the security team to ensure that containerized applications are secure and compliant with security policies

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong understanding of containerization, microservices, and cloud computing
• Experience with automated deployment scripts and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Strong understanding of security and governance policies and procedures
• Experience with monitoring and logging solutions, such as Prometheus and Grafana
• Strong understanding of networking and storage concepts
• Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Experience with cloud providers, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
