About the role

Harbor Softworks is preparing a high‑profile app store launch and needs a MongoDB Specialist to align mobile and backend data flows. You will ensure schema design, indexing, and replication support a seamless user experience across iOS and Android.

Key responsibilities

• Design and optimize MongoDB schemas for real‑time mobile data sync
• Implement aggregation pipelines that power analytics dashboards
• Collaborate with React Native and Node.js teams to define API contracts
• Set up sharding and replica sets for high availability during launch spikes
• Write migration scripts and perform data validation

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of MongoDB architecture and performance tuning
• Strong experience with Node.js backend services
• Understanding of mobile data patterns and offline sync
• Proficiency in JavaScript and RESTful API design

Nice to have

• Experience with Atlas cloud services
• Familiarity with GraphQL integrations
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for database migrations
