About the role

We are modernizing a high‑traffic legacy production platform and need a seasoned Java Developer to drive zero‑downtime migrations. The work focuses on refactoring core services, introducing cloud‑native patterns, and ensuring seamless user experience during the transition.

Key responsibilities

• Decompose monolithic Java code into independent microservices
• Implement Spring Boot APIs with robust error handling and observability
• Design and execute zero‑downtime deployment strategies using feature toggles and blue‑green releases
• Collaborate with DevOps to automate CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure provisioning
• Write comprehensive unit, integration, and contract tests to guarantee reliability

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of professional Java development
• Deep expertise with Spring Boot and microservice architecture
• Experience delivering zero‑downtime releases in production
• Proficiency in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Strong debugging and performance tuning abilities

Nice to have

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Familiarity with event‑driven design and messaging systems
• Exposure to Terraform or similar IaC tools
