About the role

NexGen Media seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the migration of legacy services to a modern, container‑based infrastructure on AWS. You will design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines while ensuring high availability and security across the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and deploy scalable Kubernetes clusters on AWS.
• Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Implement infrastructure as code with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Monitor system performance, set up alerts, and troubleshoot production issues.
• Collaborate with development teams to embed DevOps best practices.
• Document processes and create runbooks for operational handover.

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of DevOps engineering experience.
• Deep expertise with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong command of AWS services (ECS, EKS, S3, IAM).
• Proficiency in Terraform or CloudFormation for IaC.
• Hands‑on experience building CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to have

• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus or Grafana.
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
