React Native Developer Needed for Mobile Auth Overhaul

About the role

Northbay Systems is launching a new mobile product and needs a React Native Developer to uplift test automation. You will help reduce regression risk before each release by building robust automated suites that cover core user flows on both Android and iOS.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement end‑to‑end test scripts using Detox, Appium or similar tools
• Integrate automated tests into CI pipelines and ensure flaky‑test mitigation
• Collaborate with developers to identify high‑risk areas and create coverage maps
• Maintain test data, mock services, and reporting dashboards
• Provide clear documentation and training for the QA team

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with React Native development
• Proficiency in JavaScript testing frameworks
• Hands‑on knowledge of Android and iOS testing ecosystems
• Ability to write maintainable, reusable test code

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or CircleCI
• Familiarity with cloud‑based device farms
• Background in performance or security testing for mobile apps
