Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain server-side logic, database integration, and API connectivity using Python and relevant frameworks
• Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration of backend and frontend components
• Design and implement data models, database schemas, and data migration scripts
• Develop and maintain automated testing scripts and ensure code quality
• Participate in code reviews, ensure adherence to coding standards, and collaborate with other developers to resolve issues
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, identify root causes, and implement fixes
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including API documentation and code comments
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies
• Contribute to the development of our technical roadmap and strategy
• Work closely with our product team to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
• Participate in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Ensure compliance with security, scalability, and performance standards
• Develop and maintain scripts for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of our backend systems
• Collaborate with our DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and operation of our backend systems

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python, including experience with frameworks such as Django or Flask
• Experience with database management systems, including relational databases and NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with API design principles, including RESTful APIs and GraphQL
• Strong understanding of software development principles, including SOLID principles and design patterns
• Experience with agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
• Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to debug and troubleshoot issues
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong collaboration skills, including the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Experience with cloud-based platforms, including AWS or Google Cloud
• Familiarity with DevOps tools, including Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
