About the role

Pinecrest Systems is extending its B2B platform with a new multi‑tenant feature set. We need a Java Developer who can design, implement, and fine‑tune services that safely isolate tenant data while sharing core functionality. This part‑time contract focuses on delivering production‑ready code that integrates with existing microservice architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Build and enhance Spring Boot microservices for tenant provisioning and configuration.
• Implement robust security and data isolation mechanisms across tenants.
• Write unit, integration, and contract tests to ensure reliability.
• Collaborate with product owners to translate feature specs into technical tasks.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to shared coding standards.

Must-have skills

• Strong Java expertise (3+ years) and deep knowledge of Spring Boot.
• Hands‑on experience designing and deploying microservices.
• Understanding of multi‑tenant patterns and RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with Git, CI pipelines, and containerization basics.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Kubernetes or Docker Swarm.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
• Knowledge of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
