Key Responsibilities
- Translate a wide range of documents, including marketing materials, websites, and technical manuals, from one language to another while maintaining the highest level of quality and accuracy.
- Collaborate with our team of translators, editors, and project managers to ensure consistency and quality in all our deliverables.
- Conduct research to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the translation industry and apply this knowledge to improve our services and processes.
- Participate in the development of style guides, glossaries, and other linguistic resources to support our translation projects.
- Use computer-assisted translation tools, such as translation memory software and terminology management systems, to streamline our workflow and improve efficiency.
- Work closely with our project managers to ensure that all projects are delivered on time and to the required standard.
- Provide linguistic and cultural consulting services to our clients to help them better understand their target audience and develop effective communication strategies.
- Assist in the testing and evaluation of new translation technologies and tools to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Develop and maintain relationships with our clients and partners to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to continuously improve our services and processes.
- Participate in the recruitment and training of new team members to help build a strong and skilled team.
- Assist in the development of marketing materials, such as brochures, websites, and social media content, to promote our services and attract new clients.
- Collaborate with our team to identify and pursue new business opportunities and grow our client base.
- Provide feedback and suggestions for improving our services, processes, and systems to ensure continuous improvement and innovation.
Requirements
- Native or near-native fluency in the target language, with excellent writing, reading, and comprehension skills.
- Proven experience in translation, linguistic consulting, or a related field, with a strong portfolio of work to demonstrate your skills and expertise.
- Strong knowledge of computer-assisted translation tools, such as translation memory software and terminology management systems.
- Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the translation industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with our team and build strong relationships with our clients and partners.
