About the role

We are modernizing our test automation suite to cut regression risk before major releases. The GraphQL API Developer will design and extend the GraphQL layer that powers our automated test dashboards and reporting tools.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and document new GraphQL queries and mutations for test data retrieval
• Integrate GraphQL services with existing React test UI and NodeJS back‑ends
• Optimize schema for performance and low latency in CI pipelines
• Collaborate with QA engineers to define data contracts for automated scenarios
• Write unit and integration tests for all GraphQL endpoints

Must-have skills

• Strong experience building production GraphQL APIs
• Proficiency with React front‑end consumption of GraphQL
• NodeJS server development and REST API knowledge
• Understanding of test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Apollo Server and Client
• Experience in performance tuning GraphQL queries
• Background in QA automation tools like Cypress or Playwright
