About the role

Keystone Digital is building a data pipeline and analytics enablement platform for operations teams. We need an Android Developer to create a native app that visualizes real‑time metrics, triggers alerts, and lets users explore data insights on the go.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a clean, modular Android architecture using MVVM.
• Integrate RESTful and streaming APIs that feed operational data into the app.
• Build interactive dashboards, charts, and drill‑down views for analytics.
• Implement offline caching, background sync, and push notifications for alerts.
• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data quality and schema compatibility.
• Write unit, UI, and integration tests to maintain high reliability.

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of Android development with Kotlin and Java.
• Strong experience with Jetpack components, Coroutines, and Room.
• Proficiency in consuming JSON/Proto APIs and handling real‑time streams.
• Solid understanding of data visualization libraries (MPChart, Compose Canvas).

Nice to have

• Experience with data pipelines (Kafka, Flink) or analytics platforms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD for Android (Fastlane, GitHub Actions).
• Knowledge of security best practices for mobile data handling.
