PHP Developer – Service Reliability Upgrade

About the role

We are building a robust data pipeline that feeds analytics dashboards for our operations teams. As a PHP Developer you will craft the back‑end services that ingest, transform, and store operational data, enabling real‑time insights.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement ETL jobs in PHP using Laravel
• Create RESTful APIs for data retrieval and reporting
• Optimize MySQL schemas and queries for high‑volume workloads
• Integrate with third‑party data sources and messaging queues
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure data integrity
• Collaborate with data analysts to refine pipeline requirements

Must-have skills

• Strong PHP development experience (3+ years)
• Proficiency with Laravel framework
• Deep understanding of MySQL performance tuning
• Experience building data pipelines or ETL processes

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker or container orchestration
• Knowledge of cloud data services (e.g., AWS S3, Redshift)
• Exposure to analytics tools such as Looker or PowerBI
