Node.js Developer – Secure System Integration

About the role

AlphaEdge Tech is enhancing its test automation framework to lower regression risk before each product launch. We need a Node.js Developer who can design, implement, and integrate automated test suites that run reliably in CI pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and code reusable test automation components using Node.js
• Integrate automated tests with existing CI/CD workflows
• Collaborate with QA and product teams to define critical regression scenarios
• Maintain clear documentation and reporting for test results
• Identify flaky tests and improve stability

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with Node.js and Express
• Proficient in JavaScript and building REST API clients
• Hands‑on with test frameworks such as Mocha, Jest or Cypress
• Understanding of CI tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker containers for test environments
• Experience in performance testing or load simulation
