About the role

Vertex Analytics is expanding its operations data platform. We need a Node.js Developer to design and implement a robust data pipeline that feeds analytics dashboards for operations teams. The work will focus on real‑time ingestion, transformation, and API exposure.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and code a scalable Node.js service for ingesting operational logs
• Build RESTful endpoints to deliver processed metrics to downstream tools
• Integrate with message queues and cloud storage for reliable data flow
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure pipeline integrity
• Collaborate with data engineers and product owners to refine requirements

Must-have skills

• Strong Node.js experience, especially with Express
• Proficient JavaScript coding and async patterns
• Design and implementation of REST APIs
• Understanding of data streaming concepts and queuing systems

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP) for storage and messaging
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
