Key Responsibilities

• Translate content from English to other languages, ensuring accuracy, quality, and cultural relevance.
• Collaborate with the content team to develop translation guidelines, style guides, and terminology databases.
• Conduct research to stay up-to-date with language developments, cultural trends, and industry-specific terminology.
• Participate in editing and proofreading translations to ensure high-quality output.
• Meet deadlines and deliver translations on time, while maintaining consistency and quality.
• Develop and maintain glossaries, terminology databases, and translation memories.
• Collaborate with other translators, editors, and project managers to ensure seamless project execution.
• Stay organized, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Use translation software, tools, and technologies to streamline the translation process.
• Provide feedback and suggestions for improving the translation process, quality, and efficiency.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Participate in team meetings, discussions, and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in the target language and excellent command of English.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in translation, preferably in a content creation or publishing environment.
• Strong understanding of language nuances, cultural differences, and regional variations.
• Familiarity with translation software, tools, and technologies, such as CAT tools and translation memories.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with attention to detail and quality.
• Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Collaborative team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and take initiative when necessary.
• Willingness to learn, adapt to new technologies, and continuously improve skills and knowledge.
• Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Certification in translation, such as ATA or ITI, is a plus but not required.
