About the role

Orbit Labs is preparing a major app store launch and needs an iOS App Developer to align mobile and backend components. You will work closely with backend engineers to ensure seamless API integration and optimal performance on iOS devices.

Key responsibilities

• Implement UI screens using Swift and UIKit/SwiftUI
• Integrate REST APIs, handle authentication and error states
• Optimize app performance and memory usage for launch readiness
• Collaborate on backend data contracts and versioning
• Write unit and UI tests to maintain code quality

Must-have skills

• Strong proficiency in Swift and iOS SDK
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs
• Understanding of app lifecycle and App Store submission process

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SwiftUI and Combine
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for iOS
• Knowledge of backend technologies like Node.js or Python
