Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based systems using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve issues, implementing best practices to improve system performance and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain scripts and tools to automate deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of cloud-based systems.
  • Ensure compliance with security and governance policies, implementing measures to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access.
  • Work closely with the quality assurance team to identify and resolve issues, ensuring high-quality software applications.
  • Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar tools.
  • Monitor system performance, identifying and resolving issues, and implementing measures to improve overall system efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of cloud-based systems, including architecture diagrams, deployment scripts, and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with the development team to design and implement new features, ensuring smooth integration with existing systems.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, providing 24/7 support for critical systems and applications.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in DevOps, cloud computing, and software development, applying this knowledge to improve our systems and processes.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors, ensuring smooth collaboration and effective communication.
  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
  • Collaborate with the security team to implement security measures and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in DevOps engineering, cloud computing, or software development.
  • Strong proficiency in cloud-based technologies, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with containerization using Docker, Kubernetes, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of security and governance principles, including compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools, including Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of networking principles, including TCP/IP, DNS, and SSL/TLS.
