Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive email marketing campaigns that meet and exceed client goals and expectations.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in email marketing, ensuring our strategies remain cutting-edge and effective.
  • Design, build, and optimize email campaigns using marketing automation software, focusing on personalization, segmentation, and dynamic content to maximize engagement.
  • Collaborate with the content team to craft compelling email content that resonates with diverse audiences, including newsletters, promotional emails, and automated email series.
  • Analyze campaign performance using key metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and unsubscribe rates, providing actionable insights for future campaign optimization.
  • Work closely with the design team to create visually appealing and responsive email templates that align with client branding and appeal to their target markets.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of spam filters, email client capabilities, and legal requirements (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM Act) to ensure compliance and deliverability.
  • Implement A/B testing and experimentation to continuously improve email campaign effectiveness, measuring the impact of different subject lines, email copy, calls-to-action, and send times.
  • Manage and segment email lists to ensure targeted and relevant communications, minimizing list fatigue and maximizing engagement.
  • Provide regular reporting and analysis to clients and internal stakeholders, highlighting successes, challenges, and recommendations for future improvements.
  • Stay abreast of new technologies and platforms, assessing their potential to enhance our email marketing capabilities and recommending innovations for integration into our strategy.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs, preferences, and goals to deliver personalized email marketing solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of our internal knowledge base, documenting best practices, tips, and learning resources to enhance team capabilities and efficiency.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in email marketing, with a proven history of developing and executing successful campaigns that drive engagement and conversion.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, Pardot, HubSpot) and email service providers (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact).
  • Strong understanding of email marketing principles, including list building, segmentation, personalization, and campaign optimization.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret campaign data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and content management systems, with the capability to design and build email templates.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and how they apply to email marketing, including strategies to improve deliverability and avoid spam filters.
  • Effective communication and project management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
  • High level of creativity, with a portfolio that showcases innovative email marketing campaigns and strategies.
  • Certifications in email marketing or digital marketing are a plus (e.g., HubSpot Email Marketing, Marketo Certified Specialist).
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all aspects of email marketing campaigns.
