Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom Shopify themes and templates
• Integrate third-party apps and services to enhance ecommerce functionality
• Collaborate with designers to develop visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces
• Work with project managers to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery
• Debug and troubleshoot issues to ensure seamless ecommerce platform functionality
• Develop and implement custom Shopify solutions using HTML, CSS, Javascript, and React
• Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Shopify developments, trends, and best practices
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our codebase
• Collaborate with other developers to share knowledge and expertise
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for ecommerce projects
• Provide technical support and training to clients and internal teams as needed
• Participate in agile development methodologies and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development process

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Shopify development, with a strong portfolio of completed projects
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, Javascript, and React
• Experience with Shopify theme development, including Liquid templating and Shopify API integration
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git
• Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban
• Strong understanding of ecommerce principles and best practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to debug complex issues
