About the role
Northbay Systems is launching a new product line and needs a Cybersecurity Analyst to lead test automation uplift. You will design and implement automated security regression tests that run before each release, reducing risk and ensuring compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and integrate security test scripts into CI pipelines
- Identify high‑risk regression scenarios and create automated coverage
- Collaborate with developers to remediate discovered vulnerabilities
- Maintain documentation of test cases, results, and remediation steps
- Monitor test outcomes and provide actionable insights to stakeholders
Must-have skills
- Strong knowledge of security testing methodologies
- Proficiency in Python for scripting automated tests
- Experience with Linux environments and command‑line tools
- Familiarity with CI/CD platforms (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
Nice to have
- Experience with vulnerability scanners (e.g., Nessus, OpenVAS)
- Understanding of OWASP Top 10 and secure coding practices
