We're an online tutoring platform connecting students with subject experts, and we're looking for qualified Online Math Tutors to teach high school students (grades 9-12) in algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus. You'll conduct one-on-one video tutoring sessions, help students understand difficult concepts, work through homework problems, and prepare for exams. This flexible role allows you to set your own availability and build a regular student base while making a meaningful impact on their academic success.
Your typical sessions involve explaining mathematical concepts in different ways until students understand, walking through practice problems step-by-step, identifying knowledge gaps and addressing them, building student confidence in their abilities, and providing encouragement and study strategies. You'll use our virtual whiteboard platform for visual teaching, share your screen to demonstrate problem-solving techniques, and assign practice problems between sessions. We're looking for patient educators who genuinely enjoy teaching and can adapt their teaching style to different learning needs.
This is an ongoing flexible position where you can work anywhere from 5-20 hours per week depending on your availability and student demand. Most tutoring happens during weekday evenings (3-9 PM) and weekends when students are home from school. We handle all scheduling, payment processing, and student matching—you just focus on teaching. If you have strong math skills, teaching experience or passion, and reliable internet, we'd love to have you join our tutor network.
